Samsung is known for their high quality electronics. Their DVD players are produced using some of the most advanced technology. The Samsung DVD-SH893M is a great model for a number of reasons.

One of the main reasons that this machine is so popular is that it doesn’t just play DVDs and other compatible modes, it is also a DVD recorder. It has a massive 160GB hard drive which means it can hold over 400 hours of recordings. It comes with two different tuners to be able to watch television channels ñ analogue and freeview. Freeview enables those who use an aerial to receive free digital channels.

The Samsung DVD-SH893M is also very practically designed because it comes with inputs on the front of the machine for audio and video so you don’t have to keep reaching to the back. As well, it comes with a very handy remote to give you control no matter where you are in the room. It also allows you to play back different formats such as DVD-R, DVD-RW as well as MP3′s and DIVX, also known as MPEG-4. DIVX is great because it allows you to play videos that have been downloaded from the internet and see them clearly.

Another feature that the Samsung DVD-SH893M has is 1080p upscaling which means that your DVDs will be able to be transferred to your television screen in High Definition as well as HDMi compatibility. Also with its progressive scan technology, it removes the blurs and defects from your film to give you the ultimate veiwing experience. Not only are your movies and shows crisp, but the sound is enhanced using Dolby Surround Sound and because of its USB connectivity, you can listen to your MP3s through the house by playing it through your DVD player.
