lg 50ps3000 lcd television review

If you are looking for a premium television, then LG is the brand for you. The LG 50PS3000 is a giant of a TV at 50″ in size, perfect for your home theater. This plasma television is sleek and sophisticated with its Titan silver casing, perfect for any room. It comes with a swivel panel so it can be adjusted to wherever you are in the room and also has a long 100,000 hour panel life span.

The LG 50PS3000 has a fantastic 1080p resolution that is primed and ready for High Definition TV. It has Dual XD engines which is an upgrade from some of LG’s other models which creates more lifelike colours by increasing the visibility and contrast during dark portions of your show. In order to have zero blur during high speed scenes, it has created the technology to break the scenes into fifty frames per second and then break it down further into 12 different subfields creating 600Hz of crystal clear high motion scenes. Paired with a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 2 million to one, compared to 50000:1 on other models, this is the ultimate in realistic television viewing.

Not only does it have top-of-the-line resolution characteristics, like the LG 42LH3000, but it has a premium sound system. Its Clear Voice technology allows you to enhance the voices of those speaking if there is a lot of noise in the background. It also has built in TruSurround for TV viewing that envelops you. It also has different modes of sound such as Game, Cinema and Sport to give you the most realistic sound possible.

The LG 50PS3000 also has the added bonus of being an energy saver in your home. You can set your television to Stand By mode which uses a zero amount of electricity without having to unplug it. It also has a Backlight control feature which can automatically dim your screen in bright conditions or brighten it in the dark.
